A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE ADOPTED
• COUNTRY CLUB BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2009-2010 TO TRANSFER
$99,906.00 FROM THE COUNTRY CLUB CONTINGENCY ACCOUNT TO
THE COUNTRY CLUB OPERATING AND CAPITAL ACCOUNTS TO FUND
THE START UP COSTS FOR FOOD AND BEVERAGE OPERATIONS AT
THE NORTH PALM BEACH COUNTRY CLUB; PROVIDING FOR
CONFLICTS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, in May 2010, the Village assumed food and beverage operations at the North Palm
Beach Country Club and agreed to utilize the Country Club Contingency Account as a funding
source for the start up costs incurred by the Village; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council wishes to formally amend the adopted Country Club budget for
fiscal year 2009-2010 to transfer funds from the Country Club Contingency Account to the
Country Club operating and capital accounts to fund such costs; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best
interests of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA, as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby amends the adopted Village of North Palm Beach
Country Club budget for Fiscal Year 2009-2010 as follows:

Section 3. The Mayor and Village Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute the
budget amendment for and on behalf of the Village of North Palm Beach.
• Section 4. All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to
the extent of such conflict.
Section 5. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
