ROLL CALL
Mayar Manuel called the meeting to order at 8:12 p.m. All members of Council were present, except
Councilman Hernacki, who was out oftown. All members of staffwere present.
VILLAGE BUSINESS ADVERTISEMENTS IN VILLAGE NEWSLETTER
Discussion was held concerning utilization of the Village Newsletter to promote Village-based
businesses through the purchase of ad space for the display of business cards.
Mr. Knight suggested that the last two pages in the newsletter be used to reproduce actual-sized
business cards, at a cost of $37.50 per advertisement. A sample layout was provided to Council.
Council discussed allocating ad space on a first-come, first-served basis, ensuring that available
space is rotated among Village businesses, and possible first amendment issues.
This item will come back in the form of a resolution on the next Regular Session agenda.

With no further business to come before the Council, the meeting adjourned at 8:48 p.m.
