Ordinance 204 Minimum Floor Area Regulations & Off-Street Parking in R-2 ORDINANCE N0. 204-69 AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 20, IT BEING THE COMPREHENSIIJE ZONING ORDINANCE OF SAIll VILLAGE, BY AMENDING MINIMUM FLOOR AREA REGULATIONS AND OFF STREET PARKING REQUIREMENTS IN ZONING DISTRICT R-2. ' BE IT ORDAINED BY Ti{E VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BI:AC1[, FLORIDA: Section 1. Section 6(E)(2) of Ordinance No. 20 be, and the same is hereby, amended to read as follows: "2. For each multiple-family dwelling unit, there shall be provided one or more off- street parking spaces of 200 square feet each, in accordance with the following formula: One and one-half of such spaces shall be provided for each dwelling unit containing not more than two bedrooms, and two and one-half of such spaces shall be provided for each dwelling unit containing three or more bedrooms, with the provision that for an uneven number of units, the fractional space result produced by the application of such formula shall count as a full ' space. (For examples: 5 dwelling units containing not more than 2 bedrooms shall require 8 off-street parking spaces; 6 dwelling units containing not more than 2 bedrooms shall require 9 off-street parking spaces)." Section 2. Section 6(F) of Ordinance No. 20 be, and the same is hereby, amended to read as follows: "F. In multiple-family dwelling structures, each dwelling unit having one bedroom shall have a minimum floor area of seven hundred and fifty (750) square feet. An additional one hundred and fifty (1.50) square feet of floor area shall be required for each additional bedroom provided." PLACED ON FIRST READING THIS 13TH DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1969.
