AN ORDINANCE OF THF. VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA
REQUIRING PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE CONSIDERATION OF ANY PERMITS TO FILL
AND/OR DREDGF. SLIRMF.RGED LANDS LOCATED WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLOKIDA
Section 1. Before any petition or application for a permit

~ to fill or dredge submerged lands located within the corporate limits

(~ oi' the Village of North Palm Beach may be considered by the Village

Council, the advisability of issuing such permit shall be considered
at a public hearing at least ten days prior to the meeting at which such
petition or application shall be considered by the Village Council.
Section 2. Notice of said public hearing shall be given not
' less than ten days prior to the public hearing by means of the Village
Newsletter or other direct mail to all residents of the Village of
North Palm Beach and also by posting in three conspicuous places in
t}ie Village of North Palm Beach, one of which places shall be at the
Village }[all.
Section 3. The terms of this Ordinance shall be in addition
to any terms set forth in Ordinance Nos. 16, 24 or 31 of the Village
of North Palm Beach, which are concerned with applications for dredge
and rill permits, and shall not be considered to be in lieu of any
requirements contained in those ordinances.
