A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, DECLARING ONE PUBLIC WORKS
UTILITY VEHICLE AS SURPLUS PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING ITS
DISPOSAL; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Village's Public Works Department is in possession of one 1999 Dodge Ram
2500 Utility Vehicle that has been utilized in the fleet and facilities divisions; and
WHEREAS, Village Administration is recommending the surplus and sale of the Utility Vehicle
because it is in poor condition and is in need of a prohibitive amount of repair work to its motor
and transmission; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council has the authority to dispose of surplus items of personal
property in any manner so long as it acts in good faith and in the best interests of the Village; and
WHEREAS,-the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best
interests of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby declares the following Utility Vehicle as surplus
property and authorizes Village Administration to dispose of such property in accordance with
all applicable Village policies, including, but not limited to, the sale of the vehicle at auction:
One 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 Utility Vehicle (VIN: 3B7KC26Z3XM560166)
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
