ORDINANCE N0, 170-68
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING
A RETIREMENT SYSTEM FOR FIREMEN AND POLICEMEN OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH
TO BE OPERATED IN ACCORDANCE WITH A CERTAIN GROUP ANNUITY CONTRACT FROM AETNA
LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. A retirement system for the firemen and policemen of the _
Village of North Palm Beach is hereby established.

Section 2, The retirement system referred to in Section 1 above shall
be operated in accordance with Group Annuity Contract No. GA-2368 issued by Aetna
Life Insurance Company to the Village of North Palm Beach, a copy of which contract
is attached hereto, marked Exhibit 1, and the contract and the terms thereof are
hereby made a part hereof by reference thereto.
Section 3. Except as they conflict with the terms set forth in Group
' Annuity Contract No. GA-2368, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A,
the provisions of Chapters 175 and 185, Florida Statutes, are hereby incorporated
and made a gnart of the retirement :system for the firemen and policemen of the Village
of North Palm Beach.
