VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA

Mayor Pierman called the Workshop Session to order at 8:20 p.m.
All members of the Council and the staff were present.
A discussion was held concerning a donation from the Village of
North Palm Beach to the Science Museum of Palm Beach County.
The Council instructed the Village Manager to put an article in
the next Newsletter asking Village residents to contribute in an
effort to help save the museum.
A discussion was held concerning the repeal of Ordinance No.
15-79 (Sec. 6-18 of the Village Code) regarding the fair share
fee for roads. This item will appear on the regular session
agenda of April 13, 1989.
' A discussion was held concerning payment of membership fee for
Dennis Kelly, Village Manager, in the Norther n Palm Beach County
Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Kelly told Council that if he were a
member, he would be representing the Village only, and that he
had no desire for a personal membership in this organization.

A discussion was held concerning Law Enforcement Officers'
Liability Insurance Renewal. The amount of the premium received
from FIRMA is greater than the amount we had budgeted; therefore,
if the renewal is approved, we may have to transfer money from
Council Contingency to make up for the shortfall in funds. This
item will appear on the regular session agenda of April 13,
1989.
There being no further business to come before the Council, the
meeting was adjourned at 8:50 p.m.
