Mayor Pierman called the Budget Workshop to order at 7:00 p.m. All members of
Council were present. The Village Manager and the Finanoe Director were present.
Discussion began with the Recreation Department. 8lootric cost for basic
operations was reduced from 843,000 to 841,000. Counoil added 111,950 for a
personal computer hardware and software. This was offset by a reduction in
Office Furniture, Repair & Maintenance oategory. In addition, under Capital
Outlay, the Council approved and reinstated a 81,000 budgeted item for soccer
player benches. In the Tennis Division a Dash register was added for 8900 and
Council instructed staff to write-off during FY 88-89 the pool cover liability
from the books.
Members of the public were present at this meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:00 p.m.
