VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA

Mayor Pierman called the Workshop Session to order at 10:25 p.m. ROLL CALL
All members of the Council and the staff were present.
A discussion was held concerning award of bid to Bituminous BID AWARD -
Paving Systems, Inc., Hilliard, Ohio, for furnishing and ASPHALT PAVEMENT
installing latex modified emulsified asphalt pavement course, in
an amount not to exceed $58,000.00 to be expended from the
following accounts: 10-541-34-34681 (Slurry Seal) and
10-541-34-34686 (Street Resurfacing). This item will be placed
on the regular session agenda of April 27, 1989.
A discussion was held concerning the purchase of a computer, COMPUTER -
printer and software for the Village Clerk's office, the money VILLAGE CLERK'S
' to be expended from unused appropriated funds in various line OFFICE
items. The Clerk will check with various vendors concerning
price, etc. and bring this item back for Council action at the
regular session of April 27, 1989.
A discussion was held concerning placing a Public Information PLACEMENT OF
File, as is presently in the Village Clerk's office, in the North PUBLIC INFO
Palm Beach Library. This item will be placed on the regular FILE IN LIBRARY
session agenda of April 27, 1989.
A discussion was held concerning a resolution establishing a RESOLUTION -
policy that Council Members shall not endorse candidates for ESTABLISHING
election to the Village Council or participate in assisting other POLICY FOR
candidates for election to the Village Council. The majority of COUNCIL MEMBERS
the Council were not in favor of the resolution ; therefore, no
further action will be taken.
There being no further business to come before the Council, the ADJOURNMENT
meeting was adjourned at 11:00 p.m.
