Mayor Mundt called the Workshop Session to order at 8:15 p.m. ROLL CALL
All members of the Council were present except Councilman Marks
who was out of town. A11 members of the staff were present.
A discussion was held concerning various Public Safety fob de- JOB DESCRIP-
scriptions. This item will be placed on the regular session agenda TIONS
of July 28, 1988.
A discussion was held concerning bid award to Hardrives, Inc. REJECTION OF
in the amount of $130,000.00 for the construction of 6 clay BID-HARDRIVES
tennis courts. This item will be placed on the regular session
agenda of July 28 to formally reject the b.id of Hardrives, Inc.
A discussion was held concerning Bill No. 538, a proposed or- BILL N0. 538
dinance of the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida, amending
Section 19-183 of the Village of North Palm Beach Code concern-
ing possession and use of various weapons. This item will be
placed on the regular session agenda of July 28, 1988.
A discussion was held concerning authorization by Council of a COUNTRY CLUB
public opinion survey of Country Club members concerning golf PUBLIC OPINION
course renovation project. Many golfers were in the audience to SURVEY
voice their opinions on the survey. After some discussion. the
majority of the Council decided this survey was unnecessary, and
that it would not be conducted.
There being no further business to come before the Council, the ADJOURNMENT
meeting was adjourned at 10:08 p.m.
