12-08-1988 VC WS-MMINUTES OF WORKSHOP SESSION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA HELD THURSDAY, DECEMBER 8 1988 Present: Craig Mundt, Mayor ' Tom Valente, President Pro Tem Jerry Gardner, Councilman V.A. Marks, Councilman Raymond J. Howland, Village Manager Herbert L. Gildan, Village Attorney ibroles R. Walker, Village Clerk Absent: Judy M. Piennan, Vice Mayor Mayor Mundt called the Workshop Session to order at 9:30 p.m. ROLL CALL All members of the Council were present except Vice Mayor Pierman who was out of the state. All members of staff were present. There is a group of individuals who have plans for a new RECREATION recreation building for the south end of the swimming pool. This BUILDING AT group will appear before the Planning Commission for approval of POOL their plans and this item will be brought to a Regular Session Agenda in the future. A discussion was held concerning Safety and Attendance Awards for SAFETY & non-union employees and department heads. This item will appear ATTENDANCE on the Regular Agenda of January 12, 1989. AWARDS A discussion was held concerning transfer of $12,500.00 from Golf ADMINISTRATIVE Course Renovation to Country Club Office Renovation for the OFFICES initiation of the Administrative Offices construction. This item will appear on the Regular Agenda of January 12, 1989. A discussion was held concerning award of bid to Hector Turf & BID AWARD Equipment, Deerfield Beach, FL, for one greens mower in the GREENS MOWER amount of $8,995.00, to be expended fran Account No. 91-572-111-66490 (Triplex Greens Mower). This item will appear on the the Regular Session Agenda of January 12, 1988. A discussion was held concerning award of bid to DeBra TL:rf & BID AWARD Equipment Co., Ft. Lauderdale, FL, for Club top dresser in the TOP DRESSER amount of $6,745.00 to be expended fran Account No. 41-572-111-66490 (Top Dressing). This item will appear on the Regular Session Agenda of January 12, 1988.
