Mayor Mundt called the Workshop Session to order at 9:00 p.m.
All members of the Council and the staff were present.
A discussion was held concerning the use of surplus funds in the
Federal Revenue Sharing Account to provide UPS protection for the
computer systems in the Public Services Department. The Council
instructed the Village Manager to come back to them with other
items for which these surplus funds could be used.

A discussion was held concerning the lump sum bid of Hardrives, TENNIS COURT
Inc. in the amount of $125,000.00 for the construction of six CONSTRUCTION
clay tennis courts at the North Palm Beach Country Club, the BID
money to be expended from Account No. 10-572-042-66212 (Tennis
Court Renovation). This item will be placed on the Regular
Session Agenda of September 8, 1988.
' A discussion was held concerning the bid of Bemis, Inc., Terre
Haute, Indiana, in the amount of $31,968.00 for 9,000 boxes of
polyethylene bags, the money to be expended from Account No.
10-000-000-14130 (Inventory - Garbage Bags). This item will be
placed on the Regular Session Agenda of September 8, 1968.
J. Chris Comnins, Senior Vice President of Mark McCLmber &
Associates, presented the master plan for the renovation of the
North Palm Beach Country Club golf course. 'There was much
discussion, and questions fran the Council and the public, on
this plan. After discussion and the question and answer period,
the Village Council unanimously concurred that we should proceed
and instructed staff to take the necessary action to go out to
bid.
There being no further business to come before the Council, the
meeting was adjourned at 11:02 p.m.
