Mayor Valente called the Workshop Session to order at 9:12 p.m.
All members of the Council were present. All members of the
staff were present except Ray Howland, Village Manager, who is
ill.
The Village Council agreed to add the following item to the
workshop session agenda:
Village Hall Space Study
A discussion was held concerning the bid award to Florida Air
Conditioners, Inc., Riviera Beach, FL, for air-conditioning
condensers for the North Palm Beach Library in the amount of
$12,124.50 to be expended from Account No. 10-571-041-35217
' (Machinery & Equipment Supplies). This item will be placed on
the regular session agenda of May 28, 1987.
A discussion was held concerning the bid award to Carolina
Contracting Company, Hamlet, N. C., for slurry seal in the
amount of $0.55 per square yard, for a total of 818,975.00 for
34,500 square yards, to be expended from Account No.
10-541-034-34681 (Slurry Seal). This item will be placed on the
regular session agenda of May 28, 1987.
A discussion was held concerning a proposed one-time midyear
bonus for management employees of the Village. This item will be
placed on the regular session agenda of May 28, 1987.
The item concerning the purchase of a utility vehicle for Paul
Widemer, Golf Course Superintendent, was withdrawn from the
agenda.
A discussion was held concerning the Village Hall Space Study.
This item will be placed on the regular session agenda of May 28,
1987.
There being no furthur business to come before the Council, the
meeting was adjourned at 9:50 p.m.
