VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA

Craig Mundt, Councilman
Mayor Valente called the Workshop Session to order at 7:51 p.m.
All members of the Council were present except Councilman Mundt
who was out of state. All members of the staff were present.
A discussion was held concerning the placement of an
advertisement in the convention issue of Quality Cities '87. It
was the consensus of Council that we place a 1/4 page ad at a
cost of $144.00. This item will be placed on the regular session
agenda of July 23, 1987.
A discussion was held concerning the sale of Seacoast Utilities.
The Village Attorney informed Council that North Palm Beach
should vie for the a cquisition of this utility company if it
appears that another municipali ty will purchase it. If that
' would happen, a 25% surcharge could legally be imposed upon
Village residents. This item will be placed on the regular
session agenda of July 23, 1987.
There being no further business to come before the Council, the
meeting was adjourned at 8:05 p.m.
