VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA

Mayor Mundt called the Workshop Session to order at 9:05 p.m. ROLL CALL
All members of the Council and the staff were present.
A discussion was held concerning a proposal to hire an employee WATERWAY
and purchase a patrol boat for the Public Safety Department to PATROL
patrol our waterway for violators. Several residents who reside
on Sandpiper Way were in the audience and they informed Council
they felt they definitely needed protection on the waterway,
particularly in the evening because of crime. The Village
Manager is to follow up on this and report back to the Council.
This item will be placed on the January 22, 1987 workshop session
agenda.
The discussion concerning construction of two permanent houses
for State Park employees at MacArthur State Park was postponed
until the January 22, 1987 workshop session because Lew Scruggs
of the Department of Natural Resources who was supposed to appear
at the meeting to discuss this did not show.
The item concerning nominations to the Countywide Planning
Council was moved to the regular session agenda.
There being no further business to come before the Council, the
meeting was adjourned at 9:35 p. m.
