12-10-1987 VC WS-MMINUTES OF WORKSHOP SESSION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA HELD THURSDAY, DECEMBER 10, 1987 1 1 Present: Tan Valente, Mayor V. A. Marks, M.D., Vice Mayor Judy M. Pierman, President Pro Tem Kenneth H. Mays, D.M.D., Councilman Craig Mundt, Councilman Raymond J. Haaland, Village Manager Herbert L. Gildan, Village Attorney Dolores R. Walker, Village Clerk Mayor Valente called the Workshop Session to order at 10:10 p.m. All members of the Council and the staff were present. A discussion was held concerning Bill No. 524, a proposed ordinance amending Chapter 11 of the Village of North Palm Beach Code, the Electrical Code for the Village, by adopting by reference thereto the National Electric Code, 1967 Edition, and setting forth amendments to said National Electric Code. the proposed ordinance will be placed on the regular session agenda of January 14, 1988. The proposed franchise agreement between the Village of North Palm Beach and Bellsouth Mobility, Inc. was removed fran the agenda. A discussion was held concerning an "interlocal agreement" anang North Palm Beach, Lake Park, Palm Beach Gardens and North Palm Beach County Water Control District to secure the consulting engineering services of Lindahl, Browning, Ferrari & Hellstran, Inc. 'These services will be made equally and fully available to each of the above parties. A special meeting will be held on Thursday, December 17 at 7:30 p.m. for action on this matter. A discussion was held concerning the signing of a contract with Merrill Lynch for the purpose of handling the bond underwriting for possible purchase of Seacoast Utilities. During the discussion Craig Mundt proposed consideration of Shearson Lehman Brothers. A special emergency meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 16 at 7:30 p.m. for official action on this matter. ROLL CALL BILL 524 BELLSOUTH- MOBILITY, INC.
