Ordinance 178 Annexation of Lavonia Property for Public Works Complexi f~ ORDINANCE N0. 178-68 C Z`" N r~ V V ~J ~~ "Ville Council Village of North Palm Beach, Florida Gentlemen: The undersigned hereby requests the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida, to annex the following described real property and to make such property a part of the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida: North one-half of South three-quarters of East one-half of South-East quarter of South-East quarter of North-West quarter of Section 17, Township 42 South,. range 43 East. LESS the following described land: From the center of said Section 17, run N. 1°-36'-00" E. Along the E. line of the ' N.W. 1/4 of said Section 17, a distance of 402.0'; thence N. 88°-08'-37" W. a distance of 33' to the POINT OF BEGINNING. Thence continue N. 88°-08'-37" W. a distance of 313.84'; thence N. 1°-36'-42" F,. a distance of 85.83'; thence S. 88°-09'-36" E. a distance of 313.83'; thence S. 1°-36'-30" W. a distance of 85.92' to the POINT OF BEGINNING. AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA ANNEXING CERTAIN LAND. W}{EREAS, the Charter of the Village provides in Article V, Section 29, as follows: and "Upon petition of the owner or owners of any lands adjoining or within two (2) miles of the territorial boundaries of said municipality, to annex such lands by ordinance to the territorial limits of the municipality hereby established. Whenever any land shall be annexed to the municipality hereby established, upon the petition of the owner or owners thereof and in accordance with the power and authority hereby given, then such land so annexed shall be and become a part of the munici- pality hereby established with the same force and effect as though the same had been originally incorporated in the territorial boundaries thereof." Walker ' Village Clerk W}{EREAS, it appears said land is owned by the Village of Norili Palm Beach, Florida and is geographically so located as to comply with the Charter provision above quoted and should be annexed by the Village: NOW, TI{EREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORT1{ PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: Section 1. The following land in Palm Beach County, Florida, be and it is hereby annexed to the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida: North one-half of South three-quarters of East one-half of South-East quarter of South-East quarter of North-West quarter of Section 17, , Township 42 South, Range 43 East.
