Dolores R. Walker, Village Clerk
Mayor Valente called the Workshop Session to order at 8:35 p. m.
All members of the Council and the staff were present.
A discussion was held concerning Bill No. 458, a proposed
ordinance providing for the submission to the electors of said
Village a proposed amendment to the Village Charter, said
amendment to provide that the sale, lease or improvement of
certain Village owned real property located within the corporate
limits of the Village can be made only after the approval by a
vote of the Village electors in a Referendum Election called and
held as provided by law. Vice Mayor Moore, President Pro Tem
Nolan and Councilman Marks were not in favor of this proposed
ordinance. Therefore, it will be held in abeyance until a future
date.
There being no further business to come before the Council, the
meeting was adjourned at 8:50 p.m.
