VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA

Mayor Mundt called the Workshop Session to order at 9:20 p. m. ROLL CALL
All members of the Council and the staff were present.
A discussion was held concerning Bill No., 485, a proposed BILL 485
ordinance prescribing reasonable rules and regulations with
reference to the placing and maintaining along, across, or on any
road under the jurisdiction of the Village, the electric
transmission, telephone or telegraph lines, pole lines,
poles,railways, ditches, sewers, water, heat, or gas mains,
pipelines, fences, gasoline tanks and pumps, or other structures,
pursuant to Section 337.401, Florida Statutes. This item will be
placed on the regular session agenda of September 11, 1986.
A discussion was held concerning a resolution opposing the RES. OPPOSING
' proposed amendment to the Palm Beach County Charter creating a COUNTYWIDE
Countywide Planning Council; requesting other municipalities in PLANNING
Palm Beach County, Florida, to adopt similar resolutions; COUNCIL
authorizing the Village Clerk to furnish copies of this
resolution to the Board of County Commissioners of Palm Beach
County, to the Palm Beach County Municipal League, and to all
other municipalities in Palm Beach County. This item will be
placed on the regular session agenda of September 11, 1986.
A discussion was held concerning the appointed regular member BEACHES & SHORES
(Tom Valente) to the Beaches and Shores Council, and the COUNCIL - REG &
appointment of an alternate member to this Council. This item ALT MEMBERS
will be placed on the regular session agenda of September 11,
1986.
A discussion was held concerning the lack of sufficient funds MONEY FOR
from the State for the completion of Ma c Arthur Park. This item MAC ARTHUR
will be placed on the regular session agenda of September 11, PARK FROM
1986• THE STATE
There being no further business to come before the Council, the ADJOURNMENT
meeting was adjourned at 10:00 p.m.
