Mayor Mundt called the Workshop Session to order at 9:30 p.m. ROLL CALL
All members of the Council and the staff were present.
Bill No. 458 (Greenspace Ordinance) was moved from the workshop BILL 458 MOVED
session agenda to the regular session agenda. TO REGULAR
A discussion was held concerning the award of bid to Al Packer AWARD OF BID -
Ford for one Packer Truck in the amount of E44,537.00, to be PACKER TRUCK
expended from the Federal Revenue Sharing account. The Village
Manager informed the Council that FRS funds had been cut
approximately 40% and therefore we were short 85,000.00 for the
purchase of this Packer Truck. Council authorized the Village
Manager to transfer $5,000.00 from the Council Contingency
' account to make up for the deficiency of FRS funds.
A discussion was held concerning the easement for an access road ACCESS ROAD -
to enter the Community Center from Prosperity Farms Road. This COMMUNITY CENTER
was in conjunction with a meeting the Mayor and Village Manager
had with foundation Land Company in which they made this offer to
the Village.
The Council did not approve of rezoning the 75 acres that is
currently zoned R-1 to R-2. They also were not interested in
considering a commercial zone to the west of Prosperity Harbor.
The council wants to maintain the present allowable density in
all of the area that is south of Foundation Land Company's
property currently zoned R-3. They asked the Village Manager to
inform Foundation Land Company of their feelings on the matter.
There being no further business to come before the Council, the ADJOURNMENT
meeting was adjourned at 10:05 p.m.
