VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 26, 1985

Mayor Valente called the Workshop Session to order at 8:10 p. m. ROLL CALL
All members of the Council were present except Councilman Marks,
who was out of town.
A discussion was held concerning Bill No. 474, a proposed BILL 474
ordinance amending Sec. 19-18 of the Village Code by changing the
hours when use of lawn sprinkling which affects public sidewalks
to certain times both before and after public school session
hours. Corrections will be made to this ordinance before first
reading, and it will be placed on the regular session agenda of
October 10, 1985.
A discussion was held concerning amending the Village Code to AMENDMENT TO
follow the statutory language precisely as it pertains to the CODE - CODE
Code Enforcement Board, since the statute is interpreted by ENFORCEMENT BD.
courts statewide, and those interpretations would apply verbatim
to the Village Code Ordinance and assist us in understanding
ambiguities that are tried under the statute. The Village
Attorney will prepare this ordinance and it will be placed on the
regular session agenda of October 10, 1985.
A discussion was held concerning the title to be given to the TITLE FOR
person who will be hired as the head of the Public Safety Fire HEAD OF PUBLIC

There being no further business to come before the Council, the ADJOURNMENT
