VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA

Mayor Valente called the Workshop Session to order at 9:40 p.m.
All members of the Council were present except Councilman Mundt.
All members of the staff were present.
ROLL CALL
A discussion was held concerning the proposal to annex the PROPOSED
Pepperwood development to the Village of North Palm Beach. PEPPERWOOD
Council reviewed the information submitted to them by Mr. C. R. ANNEXATION
O'Meilia and felt that additional information was needed. They
instructed the Village Manager to obtain the data they requested
and bring this back to Council.
A discussion was held concerning the request from the Department
of Natural Resources regarding the Village extending the zoning
' variance to allow placement of two trailers with septic tanks at
the John D. MacArthur Beach State Park until February, 1989.
This item will be placed on the regular session agenda of
September 26, 1985.
A discussion was held concerning the invitation extended to the
Village of North Palm Beach to join the Loxahatchee Council of
Governments. The Council evaluated the information submitted by
COG and determined that it was not feasible for the Village to
join at this time.
A discussion was held concerning amending Sec. 19-18 of the
Village Code concerning sprinkling of lawns. This is necessary
because of the change in school hours for North Palm Beach
Elementary and Allamanda Elementary schools. The Council
instructed the Village Attorney to draft an amending ordinance
for the regular session of September 26, 1985.
There being no further business to come before the Council, the
meeting was adjourned at 10:30 p.m.
