Mayor Valente called the Workshop Session to order at 7:50 p.m.
All members of the Council were present except Vice Mayor Moore.
All members of the staff were present.
A discussion was held concerning a proposed Resolution setting
forth the days and times for meetings of Village Boards. This
item will appear on the regular session agenda of June 13,
1985.
The proposed resolution awarding a bid for janitorial services
was removed from the workshop agenda. The Village Manager is not
' satisfied with the references on the low bidder.
A discussion was held concerning a proposed resolution concerning
recommendations to the U. S. Dept. of Interior with regard to the
Barrier Island Protection Program. This item will appear on the
regular session agenda of June 13, 1985.
A discussion was held concerning the request for transfer of
$15,630.00 from Account No. 10-519-061-49911 (Council
Contingency) to Account No. 10-534-033-35218 (Sanitation - Auto
Parts) to eliminate a deficit in that account and provide
sufficient funds to carry the account through October 1, 1985.
This item will appear on the regular session agenda of June 13,
1985.
A discussion was held concerning a proposal to change Public
Safety Officer Brian O'Shaughnessy's position. This item will
appear on the regular session agenda of June 13, 1985.
A discussion was held concerning the elimination of the basic
subscriber rate regulation in the Village of North Palm Beach for
Perry Cable TV effective December 29, 1986 in accordance with new
FCC ruling. Council determined that no action was required on
this item.
' There being no further business to come before the Council, the
meeting was adjourned at 8:20 p.m.
