Mayor Valente called the Workshop Session to order at 7:45 p.m. ROLL CALL
All members of the Council were present except President Pro Tem
Nolan, who is on vacation.
A discussion was held concerning Bill No. 470, a proposed BILL 470
ordinance amending Chapter 45 of the Village Code by limiting the
location or places of business where such alcoholic beverages may
be sold in relation to churches, schools, hospitals, parks and
playgrounds, restaurants and public licensed retail sellers of
alcoholic beverages. The reason this proposed ordinance was
drafted was because this information was deleted during the
codification of our Village Code by Municipal Code Corporation.
This item will be placed on the regular session agenda of August
8, 1985.
A discussion was held concerning Bill No. 471, a proposed BILL 471
ordinance amending the Village Code by substituting the Code
Enforcement Board for the Board of Adjustment in Code Sections
14-44 and 14-46. This item will be placed on the regular session
agenda of August 8, 1985.
There being no further business to come before the Council, the ADJOURNMENT
meeting was adjourned at 8:05 p.m.
