Mayor Valente called the Workshop Session to order at 8:06 p.m.
All members of the Council and the staff were present.
A discussion was held concerning the proposal from Perry Cable TV
for a rate increase effective January, 1986. Reference was made
to Mr. Gildan's letter to the Village Manager dated July 24, 1985
in which Mr. Gildan suggests that the Council consider resolving
their differences with Perry Cable TV. This item will be placed
on the regular session agenda of August 22, 1985.
A discussion was held concerning the report of Mr. Robert A.
Holley, Robert Holley Associates, concerning the acoustical
' problem at the Community Center. Mr. O'Meilia is to get together
with Mr. Holley and prepare the specifications and bring them
back to Council for their review.
The item concerning the purchase of additional sets of weights
for workouts for Village employees, volunteers and Explorers in
the amount of $990.00, to be expended from the BAT Account was
withdrawn.
There being no further business to come before the Council, the
meeting was adjourned at 8:45 p.m.
