Mayor Marks called the Workshop Session to order at 10:25 p.m. All ROLL CALL
members of the Council and the staff were present.
A discussion was held concerning a Resolution appointing and reap- APPOINTING AND

this Council decided they cannot rule on this item until the next
Regular Session Agenda of October 25, 1984.
President Pro Tem Nolan asked if there was anything that could be UNSIGHTLY LAWNS
done about unsightly lawns in the Village. She was informed that
we have an ordinance which prohibits the owner of the house or lot
in question from allowing any weeds, grass, brush or noxious
growths to exceed 18 inches in height. There is nothing the
Village can do if the grass is less than 18 inches -- it reverts
back to "pride of ownership".
There being no further business to come before the Council, the ADJOURNMENT
meeting was adjourned at 10:40 p.m.
