Mayor Marks called the Workshop Session to order at 8:35 p.m. ROLL CALL
All members of the Council were present.
A discussion was held concerning the award of bid to Almac BID AWARD -
Communications in the amount of $6,515.40 for the maintenance of MAINT. OF
communications equipment to be expended from various accounts in COMM. EQUIP
the Public Safety Department and the Public Services Department.
This item will be placed on the regular session agenda of April
12, 1984.
A discussion was held concerning the award of bid to J & B Slurry BID AWARD -
Seal Company, Rockingham, N. C., for slurry seal in the amount of SLURRY SEAL
$0.51 per sq. yard - not to exceed $18,800 - to be expended from
Account No. 34-541-46.81 (Slurry Seal). This item will be placed
on the regular session agenda of April 12, 1984.
' A discussion was held concerning a budget transfer in the amount BUDGET TRANSFER -
of $850 from Council Contingency Account No. 61-519-99.11 to VILLAGE HALL
Account No. 12-512-52.14 (Building Maintenance Supplies) for DOORS & FANS
repairs to the Village Hall doors. An ordinance will be prepared FOR COUNCIL
transferring $1,300 from Council Contingency to cover the cost of CHAMBERS
the doors and fans for the Council Chambers of Village Hall.
This item will be placed on the regular session agenda of April
12, 1984.
A discussion was held concerning partial refunds of pool REFUND OF
membership fees due to the closing of the pool. It was POOL MEMBER-
determined that we should refund the final quarter of the pool SHIPS AT NPBCC
membership fees at the Country Club. This item will be placed on
the regular session agenda of April 12, 1984.
A discussion was held concerning an amendment to Section 201A and AMENDMENT TO
2016 of the Village Purchasing Regulations. This item will be PURCHASING
placed on the regular session agenda of April 12, 1984. REGULATIONS
A discussion was held concerning hiring Carole Kalogeropoulos as TENNIS PRO
the Tennis Pro at the North Palm Beach Country Club. This item FOR NPBCC
will be placed on the regular session agenda of April 12, 1984.
' There being no further business to come before the Council, the ADJOURNMENT
meeting was adjourned at 9:20 p.m.
