Mayor Marks called the Workshop Session to order at 8:35 p.m. ROLL CALL
All members of the Council and the staff were present.
A discussion was held concerning award of bid to Delta BID AWARD -
Demolition, North Palm Beach, Florida, for demolition of the DEMOLITION OF
Winter Club in the amount of $17,143 to be expended from Account WINTER CLUB
No. 10-572-042-33415 (Contractual Services - Winter Club). An
ordinance will be prepared for the June 28, 1984 regular session
transferring $5,425 from Council Contingency to Account No.
10-572-042-33415. The award of bid will be placed on the regular
session agenda of July 12, 1984.
' A discussion was held concerning award of bid to Sam Cooper BID AWARD-
Trucking, Riviera Beach, Florida, for fill dirt to be used for FILL DIRT
landscaping of the Winter Club site in the amount of $7,700 to be
expended from Account No. 10-572-042-33415 (Contractual Services
- Winter Club). An ordinance wilt be prepared for the June 28,
1984 regular session transferring $5,425 from Council Contingency
to Account No. 10-572-042-33415. The award of bid will be placed
on the regular session agenda of July 12, 1984.
A discussion was held on the rejection of the bid from Al Packer REJECTION OF
Ford in the amount of $16,914.51 for the Fifteen Passenger Van BID - 15 PASS-
for Public Safety Department Crime Prevention and for the Police ENGER VAN
Explorers. This item will be placed on the regular session
agenda of June 28, 1984.
A discussion was held concerning the replacement of the 24" WESTPORT CONDO
drainage pipe that in some areas has collapsed and also CLAIM TO BE
landscaping and repair of the parking lot at Westport TURNED OVER TO
Condominium at 312 Northlake Drive. The Village Manager will OUR INSURANCE CO.
turn the claim against us from Westport Condominium over to our
insurance company.
There being no further business to come before the Council, the ADJOURNMENT
meeting was adjourned at 9:30 p.m.
