AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE
N0. 20 OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, BY PERMITTING ADDITIONAL USE IN ZONING
DISTRICT C-1 FOR DRY CLEANING PLANTS AND SETTING FORTH RESTRICTIONS THEREON.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Ordinance No: 20 of the Village of North Palm Beach is hereby
amended by adding a. new section to be numbered Section 8(a.)(5), which said section
shall read as follows:
"Dry Cleaning Plants using modern, automatic _
cleaning systems with a. completely enclosed
process and with solvent and vapor recovery
units designed to prevent the emission of
objectionable odors and effluents; provided
(a) That such establishments employ not
more than five (5) persons on the premises,
exclusive of owner or manager and employees
who spend the greater part of their time out-
side of, rather than on the premises, such as
delivery men, salesmen or business solicitors.
(b) That such cleaning process meets with
the approval of the Building Official and the _
Fire Chief that it complies with all building code
provisions and fire prevention provisions of the
Village of North Palm Bea.ch."
