Mayor Marks called the Workshop Session to order at 8:15 P.M. ROLL CALL
A11 members of the council were present except President Pro
Tem Nolan. All members of the staff were present.
A discussion was field concerning EMA headquarters for Medical EMS HEADQUARTERS
Services personnel. After a lengthy discussion Village Manager,
Ray Howland, was requested to get all the information he Could
as to costs on a new module at .Anchorage, the Senior Citizens
building and adding to the so-called .Computer-Room of Village
Hall and bring it-back to Council for the August 9th Workshop.
A discussion was held concerning supporting the .State acquisition. SUPPORT OF STATE
' of an 1800 ft. strip of 6eacfifront on Jupiter Island under-the PURCHASE OF BEACH
State's Save Our Coasts program. 'It was decided to draft a LAND
letter in favor of this as Council unanimously favors saving as
much beach land as possible.
A discussion-was held concerning award of. 61d to.Screenco North, ALUMINUM RAILING
Riviera Beach, Fl, for 42 inch high aluminum railing in the
amount of $6,640 to 6e expended from Account No. 10-522-042-
33415. This item will 6e placed on_the regular session agenda
of August 9, 1984.
A discussion was held concerning the annexation of Twelve Oakes, ANNEXATION OF TWELVE
the area north of PGA Blvd. the Ellison Wilson Road area ,'and OAKS AND OTHER AREAS
others, to the Village of North Ralm Beach. After a lengthy
discussion Council decided to watt until the mtllage had been
updated for the coming year and~brtng tfie item back to workshop
at some future date.
