Mayor Valente called the Workshop Session to order at 8:25 P.M.
All members of the Council and Staff were present.
A discussion was held concerning Bill No. 418, a proposed
ordinance amending Section 45 of the Village Code, it being
Appendix C thereto, the zoning sections of the Code, by
permitting eating and service areas at restaurants to be
outside the exterior walls of the building. the Bill was
defeated. Mayor Valente and President Fro Tem Mundt were in
fawr of it and Vice Mayor Marks, Councilman Moore and Council-
wanan Nolan were opposed.
A discussion was held concerning a proposed resolution award-
ing bid to Club Car, Inc. for a four-year golf cart lease in
the amota-t of $70 per cart per month ($50,400 per year) to be
expended from Account No. 11.3-572-44.20 (Rentals Equipment).

A discussion was held concerning a proposed resolution award- BID AWARD - FARNETI
ing bid to Farneti Advertising for printing of NPBCC Forecast ADVERTISING
for fiscal year 1983-84 in the amount of $3,588.73 to be
expended from Account No. 31-1-572-47.10 (Printing and Binding).
This item will appear on the Regular Session agenda of Jtme 23,
1983.
A discussion was held amcerning the Perry Cable TV report.
After a lengthy discussion by the Council and Village Manager,
it was decided that the Staff is to work on this and bring it
back to Council at a later date.
A discussion was held concerning expendit~e of the $1,000
contribution which the Village received from Bruce King
Chevrolet. After much discussion, the consenus of the Council
was to spend the money on something for the North Palm Beach
Comminity Center. this item wtll appear on the Regular Session
agenda of June 23, 1983.
A discussion was held concerning the contract estimate on troving
the fifth hole pimp at the NPBCC fran the lake to dry land.
After a lengthy discussion it was decked to put this an the
Regular Session agenda of June 23, 1983 to go out to bid to
put the pimp on dry land.
There being no further business to cane before the Council, the
meeting was adjourned at 9:10 P. M.
