Mayor Valente called the Workshop Session to order at 8:10 P.M.
All members of the Council were present with the exception of
Councilman. Moore, who was on vacation.
A discussion was held concerning Bill No. 419, a proposed
ordinance amending Chapter 12 of the Village of North Palm
Beach Code, the Fire Prevention Code for the Village, by
adopting by reference thereto the Standard Fire Prevention
Code, 1982 Edition, and setting forth amendments to said
Standard Fire Prevention Code. On Bill No. 419 there will be
corrections made to this Bill and it will be placed on the
Regular Session agenda of July 28, 1983.
A discussion was held concerning Bill No. 420, a proposed
ordinance amending Chapter 15 of the Village of North Palm
Beach Code, the Housing Code for the Village, by adopting
by reference thereto the Standard Housing Code, 1982 Edition.
This item will appear on the Regular Session agenda of
July 28, 1953.

A discussion was held concerning Bill No. 421, a proposed BILL N0. 421
ordinance amending Chapter 13 of the Village of North Palm GAS CODE
Beach Code, the Gas Code for the Village, by adopting by
reference thereto the Standard Gas Code, 1982 Edition, and
setting forth amendments to said Standard Gas Code. This
item will appear on the Regular Session agenda of July 28, 1983.
A discussion was held concerning Bill No. 422, a proposed
ordinance amending Chapter 22 of the Village of North Palm
Beach Code, the Plumbing Code for the Village, by adopting
by reference thereto the Standard Plumbing Code, 1982
Edition including Appendix A, D, and F thereto, and setting
forth amendments to said Standard Plumbing Code. This item
will appear on the Regular Session agenda of July 28, 1983.
A discussion was held concerning Bill No. 423, a proposed
ordinance amending Chapter 17.5 of the Village of North Palm
Beach Code, the Mechanical Code for the Village, by adopting
' by reference thereto the Standard Mechanical Code, 1982
Edition, and setting forth amendments to said Standard Mechan-
ical Code. this item will appear on the Regular Session
agenda of July 28, 1983.
A discussion was held concerning Bill No. 424, a proposed
ordinance amending Chapter 6 of the Village of North Palm
Beach Code, the Building Code for the Village, by adopting
by reference thereto the Standard Building Code, 1982
Edition, including Appendices A, B, C, E, F, G, 0 and P
therto, and setting forth amendrents to said Standard Building
Code. This item will appear on the Regular Session agenda of
July 28, 1983.

A discussion was held concerning removal of rat poison RAT POISON
(Diphacinone) fran North Palm Beach (per IX. Tignor's
letter to Councilman Craig M~mdt, dated June 30, 1983).
The Village Manager was directed by the Council to
write a letter to Nozzle Nolan, asking that fine to
please have their employees be more careful when using
Diphacinone.
A discussion was held concen7ixig authorizing the Mayor RID CROSS
to e~oecute the American Red Cross Contract. This item CONTRACT
will appear an the Regular Session agenda of July 28,
1983.
A discussion was held concerning a local bill passed by UNIFORM MONIC-
