10-28-1982 VC WS-M MINUTES OF THE WORKSHOP SESSION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA HELD THURSDAY, OCTOBER 28, 1982 Present: Al Moore, Mayor W. H. Brown, Vice Mayor Harriet Nolan, President Pro Tem Tom Valente, Councilman V. A. Marks, M.D., Councilman ' Raymond J. Howland, Village Manager Herbert L. Gildan, Village Attorney Joan C. Bernola, Finance Director Dolores R. Walker, Village Clerk Mayor Moore called the meeting to order at 9:00 p.m. ROLL CALL All members of the Council and staff were present. Discussion was held concerning initiating a program COOLING TOWER to treat the water in the new cooling tower at the AT NPBCC Country Club. It was decided that'the Village Manager will put together the necessary document authorizing the expenditure of the necessary monies, not to exceed a specified amount, from the Country Club Maintenance account. This item will appear on the Regular Agenda of November 18, 1982. Discussion was held concerning reconsideration of the FEES FOR increase in college pool fees at the NPB Country Club. NPBCC POOL It was decided that the fees will stay as is and the Village Manager will advise Palm Beach Junior College of the Council's decision. ' Discussion was held concerning Bill 410, a proposed AMENDMENT TO amendment to the Police/Fire Pension Ordinance regarding POLICE/FIRE disability. This item will be on the next Regular PENSION ORD. Session agenda of November 18, 1982, for first and second reading. A discussion was held concerning Bill 409, a proposed TIME SHARING ordinance concerning Time Sharing in the Village. This proposed ordinance will appear on the Regular Session of November 18, 1982. A discussion was held concerning Bill 411, a proposed AMENDMENT TO ordinance amending the General Employees pension GENERAL EMPIAYEES ordinance. This item will appear on the Workshop PENSION ORD.
