VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA

Mayor Marks called the Workshop Session to order at ROLL CALL
9:55 p.m. All members of the Council and staff were
present.
A discussion was held concerning Bill No. 395 - BILL N0. 395
Electrical Code for the Village. This item will be
placed on the Regular Session Agenda of January 28,
1882.
A discussion was held concerning a letter from Howard SEACOAST UTILITIES
Osterman of Diversified Utility Services regarding
acquisition of Seacoast Utilities Company. A letter
~~i_11 be sent to Howard Osterman stating that we cannot
encumber future Councils for the money and that we will
nave to proceed at our own pace unless he can come thru
and help us.
' A discussion was held concerning setting a date for PERSONNEL RULES &
Special Workshop to discuss the proposed Personnel REGULATIONS
Rules and Regulations. It was decided that the
meeting would be held January 25, 1982 at 7:00 p.m.
A discussion was held concerning the renewal and DRIVING RANGE LEASE
extension of the Driving Range Lease with Peter
Finlayson. This item will be on the January 28,
1982 Workshop.
A discussion was held concerning the expenditure PANELING FOR
of $840.00 for paneling for the Village Manager's VILLAGE MANAGER &
office and that of his secretary. It was decided SECRETARY'S OFFICES
to take the monies out of Council Contigency and
proceed.
A discussion was held concerning appointment of APPOINTMENTS TO
members to North Palm Beach Country Club Advisory BOARDS
Board, Code Enforcement Board and Board of
Adjustment. It was decided to place this item
on the Regular Session Agenda of January 28, 1982.
A discussion was held concerning the Dispatch PUBLIC SAFETY
Console for Public Safety. This item will be DISPATCH CONSOLE
placed on the Regular Session agenda for January
28, 1982. The Director of Public Safety is to

bring, at that time, exactly what he would like
the changes to be - on paper - for the Council
to consider.
There being no further business to come before the ADJOURNMENT
Council, the meeting was adjourned at 11:00 p.m.
