Mayor Marks called the Workshop Session to order at 8:45 p.m. All ROLL CALL
members of the Council and Staff were present.
A discussion was held concerning a proposed ordinance amending BILL N0. 379 -
Chapter 18 of the Village Code relating to '4notor vehicles and AMENDING CHAPTER 18
traffic"; by amending provisions concerniinng~ weight limitations on OF THE CODE
certain roads and concerning overnight parkir-g restrictions, This
item will be placed on the Regular agenda of 3-12-81.
A discussion was held concerning awarding the bid to Meyer & Son, BID AWARD -
for 74,000 square feet of Floritan Grass Sod at 0.105 per square GRASS SOD
foot, in the atrrnmt of $7,770, to be expended from various street,
parks and NPBOC budgets. Vice Mayor Moore requested that the
proposed Resolution which will be presented to Council at the
Regular Session of 3-12-81, reflect a breakdorom of the accotntts
from which the monies will be expended.
A discussion was held concerning awarding the bid to Microforms BID AWARD -
Management Corp for microfilming services per unit prices bid, MICROFIIMING
not to exceed $3,000 during Fiscal 1980-81, to be expended from SERVICES
Account No. 31-524-34.90 (Microfilming), this item will be placed
an the Regular agenda of 3-12-81.
A discussion was held concerning awarding the bid for Item 1, BID AWARD -
Spanish "S" cement tile, to Hawthorne Industries, Inc., iri the lump RE-ROOFING WINTER
scan amount of $39,700 (Bond Issue - $40,000). This item will be CLxTB BUII.DING
placed on the Regular agenda of 3-12-81.
A discussion was held concerning awarding the bid to Fleischer's,
Inc, for painting cart shed/maintenance wilding at the NPBCC,
in the amount of $8,764. Vice Mayor Moore suggested and Council
concurred, that the painting of the fertilizer roans (Item 2 on
bid) be included in this bid award, in the amount of $1,883, for
a total of $10,647, to be expended fran Account No, 11.1-572-46.20
(R & M Buildings & Grounds).
A discussion was held concerning review of the Village audit for
the period ending 9-30-80. This item will be placed on the Regular
agenda of 3-12-80 for acceptance of the audit.
There being no further business to corns before the Council, the
meeting was adjourned at 9:55 p.m.
