Kazimir, Vice Mayor Patsy B. Love, President Pro Tem Dr. V. A. Marks, Councilman Al Moore, Councilman Paul J. Nicoletti, Village Manager Herbert L. Gildan, Village Attorney Dolores R. Walker, Village Clerk Cheryl S. Collins, Deputy Village Clerk mayor Brown called the Workshop Session to order at 10:00 p.m. All ROLL CALL ~ ers of the Council and staff were present. The Fire Chiefs' Association of Palm Beach County is in need of funds REPORT OF MAYOR to develop a fire training facility at South Vocational Tech and they are soliciting fran available sources. Fire Chief Bill Conyers of Lake Park, who is President of the organization, will appear before Council at the next Regular Session on 1-10-80. A proposed ordinance amending Chapter 6 of the Village Building Code ORDINANCE PLACID ON concerning raising building pexndt fees will be placed on the next NEXT REGULAR AGENDA Regular Session agenda 1-10-80. A proposed resolution to apply to the Local Goverrunent Comprehensive RE90L[TfION PLACID ON Planning Act Assistance Fund Program for financial assistance will be NEXT REG'UTAR AGENIIA placed on the next Regular Session agenda of 1-10-80. Jerry Brownlee, Director, Palm Beach County Library System, PROPOSAL OF PALM BEACH appeared before Council and submitted a proposal concerning OOUNTY LIBRARY SYSTEM cooperative arrangements and proposals for services and/or finds to cocipensate the Village for services rendered to Taxing District residents. The transfer of $2,000 from Account No. 13-513-34.80 (IDP Programnirlg) INI'FIt-OBJECT TRANSFER to Accrnmt No. 13-513-11.20 (Regular Pay) will further be discussed at the next Workshop Session on 1-10-80. Preparation of an executive summary of the Village Comprehensive Plan in the mrotnt of $600 to be expended from Account No. 16-514-31.20 will be postponed until funds are received from the Local Government Comprehensive Planning Act Assistance Fled Program. Engaging the Florida League of Cities, Inc. to research those companies which appear to be delinquent to license payments to the Village will be placed on the next Regular Session agenda of 1-10-80 Use of motor scooters for use in patrolling, neighborhoods in the Village in lieu of autourobiles will be considered at budget time onsideration of employing the services of Value Management Consul- uts, Inc., specialists in improved management tecYmiques, was turned down by the Coumcil. Appointment of one person to serve on the Palm Beach Gardens High School Advisory Council was turned down by Cotncil.
