VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA
HELD
THURSDAY, JUNE 24, 1976
Present: Mervin H. McIntyre, Vice Mayor

Absent: Ronald L. Heraty, Mayor
M.C. Love, Jr., Councilman
Vice Mayor McIntyre called the Workshop Session to order ROLL CALL
at 9:45 P.M. All members of the Council and Staff were
present save Mayor Heraty and Councilman Love.
Discussion was held concerning a request from Mr. John
Stevenson, Port Commissioner to the Council for a
resolution urging the transfer of Peanut Island from
the Port of Palm Beach to Palm Beach County for
Recreational purposes.
After hearing from Mr. Stevenson and a short question
and answer period, it was decided that this would be put
in resolution form and presented on the next Regular
Session of July 8, 1976.
Discussion was held concerning the specifications and
design of the library expansion project with Architect,
' Rudy Arsenicos. It was decided that this item will go
out for bid and be brought back to Council with the
results.
Discussion was held concerning the transfer of $1,000
from Reserve Account No. 40-500 to Account No. 32-245,
Entertainment. This item will be on the next Regular
Session of July 8, 1976.
Discussion was held concerning the Country Club Golf
Course maintenance facility. Mr. O'Meilia showed
Council several drawings from the architect. The
Village will be ready to go out for bid on this item
very shortly.
There being no further business to come before the
Council, the meeting was adjourned at 10:25 P.M.
