' AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, ASSESSING AND IMPOSING
A ONE (1) PER CENT EYCISE TA% ON CASUALTY INSURANCE PREMIUMS FOR PAYMENT TO MUNICIPAL
POLICE OFFICERS RETIREMENT TRUST FUND,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM HEAGH, FLORIDA:
• Section 1, In accordance xith Chapter 185.08, Florida Statutes, the Village of
North Palm Beach does hereby assess and impose on every insurance company, corporation or
other insurer now engaged in or carrying on, or xho shall hereafter engage in or carry oa
the business of casualty insurance as shown by the records of the State Treasurer in his
capacity as State Insurance Commissioner, an excise or license tax in addition ,to ,any
laxful license or excise tax nox levied by tha Village of North Palm Beach amounting to -
ONE (1) PER CENT of the gross amount of receipts of premiums from policyholders on all
premiums collected on casualty insurance policies covering property within the corporate
limits of the Village of North Palm Beach.
Section 2. Ordinance No. 11/,.-1965 be, and the same is hereby repealed.
