STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC, PETITIONS AND COMMUNICATIONS Members of the public may address the Council concerning items on the Consent Agenda or any non-agenda item. Members of the public who wish to be heard concerning any item listed on the Regular Session or Workshop Session Agenda may do so when the issue comes up for discussion. Those wishing to speak should complete a Statement from the Public Card (located at back of Council Chambers) and submit it to the Village Clerk prior to the beginning of the meeting. CONSENT AGENDA The Consent Agenda is for the purpose of expediting issues of a routine or pro-forma nature. OTHER VILLAGE BUSINESS MATTERS RESOLUTION – LIBRARY AUTOMATION SOFTWARE PURCHASE AGREEMENT 1. Consider a motion to adopt a proposed resolution approving the purchase of library automation software from Sirsi/Dynix at a total cost not to exceed $27,800. ACTION Regular Session Agenda, April 22, 2010 Page 2 of 2 RESOLUTION – BID AWARD FOR NPBCC POOL RESURFACING 2. Consider a motion to adopt a proposed resolution accepting the bid of National Paving and Waterproofing Inc., for the resurfacing of the Country Club pools at a cost not to exceed $198,765.00 and authorizing a budget amendment transferring $160,000 from the Recreation/Developer Fee Account to the Pool Capital Project Account. ACTION RESOLUTION – PROSPERITY FARMS ROAD CORRIDOR STUDY 3. Consider a motion to adopt a proposed resolution acknowledging receipt of the Prosperity Farms Road Corridor Study and recognizing its future use as a planning document to consider in conjunction with applications for land use and zoning changes for properties located along Prosperity Farms Road. ACTION RESOLUTION – AMENDMENT TO COMMUNICATIONS SITE LEASE AGREEMENT WITH 4. SPRINT SPECTRUM, LP Consider a motion to adopt a proposed resolution approving a First Amendment to the Communications site Lease Agreement with Sprint Spectrum, L.P. to provide for the installation of an additional antenna and related equipment. ACTION RESOLUTION – APPOINTING MEMBERS TO VILLAGE BOARDS 5. Consider a motion to adopt a proposed resolution appointing members to Village Boards. ACTION F. ADJOURNMENT If a person decides to appeal any decision by the Village Council with respect to any matter considered at the Village Council meeting, he will need a record of the proceedings, and for such purpose he may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. This agenda represents the tentative agenda for the scheduled meeting of the Village Council. Due to the nature of governmental duties and responsibilities, the Village Council reserves the right to make additions to, or deletions from, the items contained in this agenda.
