AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 121-65
BY PERMITTING WATER TO EMANATE OVER SIDEWALKS DURING CERTAIN HOURS.

WHEREAS, the Village Council has determined that it is in the best interest o£ the
property owners and residents of the Village to permit them to water swale areas from private
property, and
WHEREAS, the Village Council has further determined that it is important for the
safety and welfare of school children within the Village to be permitted passage along
Village sidewalks unobstructed by sprinklers and other water hazards, now therefore
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section I. Section 11 of Ordinance No. 121-65 be and the same is hereby amended by
adding the following proviso at the end thereof:
~~Provided, however, that water from sprinkling lawns and other vegetative
matter may emanate from private property over and upon sidewalks in the
Village except from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
during days when the public or parochial schools of Palm Beach County are
in session."
Section 2, All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed.
