Ordinance 122 Budget Ordinance 0 ORDINANCE N0. 122-65 AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, LEVYING A TAX ON REAL PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH FOR THE YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1965; FIXING THE TOTAL VALUATION THEREON AND THE TAX RATE THERE- FOR FOR THE FISCAL YEAR. NOVEMBER 1, 1965 TO OCTOBER 31, 1966, INCLUSIVE, FOR THE GENERAL GOVERN- MENT OF THE VILLAGE AND FOR THE NORTH PALM BEACH COUNTRY CLUB; APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR EXPENDITURES AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT WITH THIS ORDINANCE, ~ ~ ~ ~ r< BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. ESTIMATED E%PENDITURES. 1965-66 Administration ~ 51,008 ~ 45,008 Golf Course 146,632 152,632 Swimming Pool 32,745 32,745 Dining Room 55.575 55.-575 Total 28 60 2 60 2_ ORDINANCE NO Page -3- VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH TAX ROLL, 1965 Complete tax roll as equalized Homestead & Exempt Property Disability & Widows Exemptions Total Exemptions Net Taxable roll as equalized CALCULATION FOR TAX LEVY, 1965 To be raised by ad valorem taxes: General Government General Government (Debt Service) Debt Service (C, C, Bonds) Total ADD FOR RESERVES 1,~ Discount 5% Uncollectibility Total Reserves Proceeds of 5.648'mills for General Government on above net tax roll Proceeds of 1,000 mills for General Government, Debt Service, on above net tax roll Proceeds of 2,052 mills for Debt Service (Country Club Bonds) on above net tax roll PROCEEDS OF TOTAL OF 8.7 MILLS ON ABOVE NET TAX ROLL $ 15,734 19.667 $ 35.401 X54,449,253 - 9.237,011 X45.212,242 ~ 357.945 $ 35,401 ~ 393.346 92.776 The Council, having considered said budget and having considered the tax assessment roll for 1965, as heretofore equalized, hereby fixes and determines the sum of X232,376 after reserves as the amount to be raised from ad valorem taxes for the calendar year 1965 for General Government; and the sum of $41,143 after reserves as the amount to be raised by ad valorem taxes for the calendar year 1965 for General Government (Debt Service); and the sum of X84,426 after reserves as the amount to be raised from ad valorem taxes for the calendar year 1965 for Debt Service (Country Club Bonds), and such sums are hereby appropriated for such purposes, and a millage o£ 5.648 on each dollar of assessed valuation of taxable property on said 1965 equalized roll is hereby Zevied for such debt Service (General Government); and a millage of 2,052 on each dollar of assessed valua- tion of taxable property on said 1965 equalized roll is hereby levied for such Debt Service (Country Club Bonds) appropriations, or a total millage, for all purposes, of 8,7 mills A certified copy of this Ordinance shall be delivered by the Village Clerk to the Village Tax Assessor, together with the tax assessment roll as equalized, and the Tax Assessor shall then proceed to assess and extend the taxes on the tax assessment roll according to and in the proportion to the valuation entered therein; when this has been done, the tax Assessor shall deliver the roll to the Village Clerk who shall certify and deliver same, or a copy thereof, to the Village Tax Collector and the latter shall, beginning November 1, 1965, proceed in the manner provided by law to collect and receive said taxes. That the above listed items and figures shall be and are hereby adopted as the Village of North Palm Beach Budget for the fiscal year beginning November 1, 1965 and ending October 31, 1966, and the various respective sums are hereby appropriated, SECTION 7.
