Ordinance 112 Regulation of Catsr1 LJ ORDINANCE NO. ll2-65 AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE O.F NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCES N0. 28 AND N0. 94, WHICH SAID ORDINANCES PROVIDE FOR THE REGULATION OF DOGS, $Y APPLYING THE TERMS OF SAID REGULATION ALSO TO ALL CATS; AND ESTABLISHING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ORDINANCE, AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH. # s: ~ ~ ~ BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIIIA: Section 1. Ordinance No. 28 and Ordinance No. 94, as it amends Ordinance No. 2S, both be, and the same are hereby, am~anded by adding thereto the words "and cat" following the word "dog" wherever it appears in said Ordinances so that said Ordinances shall apply with equal force and effect to all cats located within the Village and to all dogs located within the Village. All requirements set forth in those two Ordinances for the regulation of dogs, including the registration, licensing, inoculations and fees, are her®by expressly made applicable with the same force and effect to cats. Sectiott 2, Section 1 of Ordinance No. 2S be, and the same is hereby, further amended by adding a section (g) thereunder to read as follows: "Cat" shall include any feline. Section 3. General Penalty. Any person convicted of any violation of the provisions of this Ordinance, where no other penalty is provided, shall be punished by fines not to exceed X500.00. Section 4. All Ordinances or. parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. FIRST READING the 29 day of December, 1964, SECOND, FINAL READING AND PASSAGE the 12th day of January, 1965.
