Ordinance 109 Rezoning ORDINANCE N0. 10~ AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 20, AS HERETOFORE AMENDED, THE SAME BEING THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE OF SAID VILLAGE BY REMOVING CERTAIN PROPERTY FORM TH'E R-I SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT AND RECLASSIFYING SAID PROPERTY AS R-2 RESIDENCE DISTRICT; BY DIRECTING THE VILLAGE CLERK TO BRING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP UP TO DATE; BY PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HERE- WITH AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ WHEREAS, the Village Council, pursuant to authority vested in it under Section 14 has deemed it advisable and necessary to amend said zoning ordinance in certain respect; of Ordinance No. 20, the same being the comprehensive zoning ordinance of said Village, and WHEREAS, a public hearing relating to said proposed amendments was duly held pursuant to publication of the date and purpose of said hearing as prescribed by law; and WHEREAS, the Village Council has determined that it will be to the best interest of public welfare, safety and morals to amend Ordinance No. 20 in the manner discussed and proposed at said hearing; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, A as follows: Section 1. That Ordinance No. 20 entitled ~~A ORDINANCE REGULATING THE USES OF LAND, WATER, BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, FOR TRADE, INDUSTRY, RESIDENCE OR OTHER PURPOSES: REGULATING THE LOCATION, HEIGHT, SIZE OF BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES, THE SIZE OF YARDS AND OTHER OPEN SPACES, THE DENSITY AND DISTRI- BUTION OF POPULATION AND FOR SAID PURPOSES, CREATING SIX (6) DISTRICTS AND ESTABLISHING THE BOUNDARIES THEREOF AND ADOPTING A NAP OF SAID DISTRICTS; DEFINING CERTAIN TERMS USED: ESTABLISHING A BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF ITS PRO- VISIONS+~, as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended in the following respects, to-wit: The following described property is hereby removed from the zoning classification R-1 r Single Family Dwelling District: Lot 13, FAIRHAVEN ADDITION to Village of North Palm Beach, Florida, according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 2?, Page 90, Public Records of Palm Beach County, Florida. Said land shall henceforth be classified R-2 Residence District. Section 2. That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to reflect upon n the official zoning map, by hatching or other appropriate means of designation, the changes in zoning classification affected under this amending ordinance. Section 3. That all ordinances or parts, of ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. ORDINANCE N0. 109 Page -2- Section 4.
