Ordinance 105 Model Traffic Ordinance i ORDINANCE N0, ~ - 1964 AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE N0, 41 WHICH ADOPTED THE MODEL TRAFFIC ORDINANCE FOR MUNICIPALITIES BY SETTIAIG FORTH SPEED LIMITS ON THE STREETS OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, that; Section 1, Ordinance No. 41 be, and the same is hereby, amended by adding at the end thereof the following Schedule: SCHEDULE I `J 0 INCREASED SPEED LIMITS In accordance with Section 186,77, and when signs are erected giving notice thereof, the speed limit shall be as set forth in this Schedule upon those streets or portions thereof, and at the times specified herein. (a) On all streets within the corporate limits of North Palm Beach, except those listed below, the speed limit shall be 25 miles per hour, at all times. (b) On Prosperity Farms Road, within the Village of North Palm Beach, from the southern village boundary line to Teal Road, North, the speed limit shall be 30 miles per hour, at all times. (c) Speed limit on all state highways located in the Village of North Palm Beach shall be as designated by the Florida State Road Department. (d) The approaches to Light Bridge on Lighthouse Drive, in either direction, shall have a manimum speed limit of 20 miles per hour at all times. (e) Between the hours of 7:30 A,M, and between the hours of 2:00 P,M. and 3:30 P,M., the speed limit in the vicinity of schools or at such street intersections where heavy school traffic is found, shall be 15 miles per hour where signs are erected to that effect. Where public health, welfare and safety necessitates the uae of school speed limits, such determina- tion shall be made by the Chief of Police. repealed. Section 2, All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby FIRST READING the 8th day of September, 1964. SECOND, FINAL READING AND PASSAGE the 22 day of September, 1964.
