AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO
ANNEX A CERTAIN UNINCORPORATED TRACT OF LAND LYING CONTIGUOIIS TO THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, IN PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND DIRECTING THE PUBLICATION OF THIS ORDINANCE.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA,
Section 1. The Village Council of North Palm Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida,
hereby declares its intention to annex the following described tract of land to said Village
at the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date of approval of this Ordinance, to-wit:
''A tract of land in Section 17, Township 42 South, Range 43 East, Palm Beach
County, Florida, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the
southeast corner of the Northwest Quarter (IdCJ~) of Section 17, Township 42 South
Range 43 East; thence North 0° 13' 15" East along the North-South Quarter Section
line o£ said Section 17, a distance of 663.90 feet to its intersection with the
easterly extension of the south line of Block ++E++, Village of North Palm Beach,
Plat No. 4, according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 25, Pages 229 and
230, Public Records of Palm Beach County, Florida; thence North 890 32" 04" West
along said extension and along the south line of Block "E", a distance of
346.86 £eet; thence South Oo 13' 15" West, a distance of 664.03 feet more or less,
to a point in the south line of the Northwest Quarter (NWT) of said Section 17;
thence South 89° 33' 24" East along said south line, a distance of 346,8b feet'to
the POINT OF BEGINNING.
Also all that part of the Southwest Quarter (SW4) of said Section 17, Township
Q2 South, Range 43 East, lying north of the northerly right of way line of Canal C-17.
Section 2. Said tract of land which contains lass than ten registered voters is an
• unincorporated tract of land lying contiguous to the Village of North Palm Beach, Palm Beach
County, Florida, lying within Palm Beach County, Florida, and said tract of land when annexed
will constitute a reasonably compact addition to the Village of North Palm Beach.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be published for four consecutive weeks in a news-
paper published in Palm Beach County, Florida, since there is no newspaper published in the
Village of North Palm Beach.
