Ordinance 093 Amendment to Ord. #20s ORDINANCE NO.~'~ AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 20, AS HERETOFORE AMENDED, THE SAME BEING THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE OF SAID VILLAGE, BY REQUIRING A CHARGE OF TWENTY-FIVE DOLLARE (25.00) FOR ANY PERSON REQUESTING AN AMENDMENT TO THE ZONING ORDINANCE IN ORDER TO COVER THE EXPENSES OF PUBLIC HEARIN; BY PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. # ~ ~ ~ # WHEREAS, the Village Council, pursuant to authority vested in it under Section 14 of Ordinance No. 20, the same being the comprehensive zoning ordinance of said Village, has __ deemed it advisable and necessary to amend said zoning ordinance in certain respects; and WHEREAS, the Village Council has determined that it will be to the best interest o£ public welfare, safety and morals to amend Ordinance No. 20; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, as follows: Section 1. That Ordinance No. 20 entitled ~~A COMPREHENSIVE ORDINANCE REGULATING THE USES OF LAND, WATER, BUILDING3 AND STRIICTURE3 WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, FOR TRADE, INDUSTRY, RESIDENCE OR OTHER PURPOSES: REGULATING THE LOCATION, HEIGHT, SIZE OF BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES, THE SIZE OF YARDS AND OTRER OPEN SPACES, THE DENSITY AND OF POPULATION AND FOR SAID PURPOSES, CREATING SI% (6) DISTRICTS AND ESTABLISHING THE BOUNDARIES THEREOF AND ADOPTING A MAP OF SAID DISTRICTS; DEFINING CERTAIN TERMS USED; A HOARD OF ADNSTMENT AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF ITS PROVI- SIGNS", ad amended, be and the same is hereby further amended in the following respects, to- wit: Section 14 0£ Ordinance #20, be amended to read as follows: ~~Section 14. CHANGES AND AMENDMENTS The Village Council may from time to time, i on its own motion or on petition, amend, supplement, change, modify or repeal by ordinance the boundaries or districts or regulations or restrictions herein established, after public hearing. Any person, corporation, or other owner or controller of property requesting the Village to amend, supplement, change, modify, or repeal the boundaries or districts or regulations or restrictions herein established shall first pay the sum of Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00) to the Village Treasurer to defer the costs of calling the public hearing required by this section, and only after the payment of the charge of Twenty-five Dollars (25.00) as aforesaid shall a public hearing be called to consider the request. Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. • ORDINANCE NG. 93 Page 2. Section 4.
