Ordinance 082 Annexing Certain Land
ORDINANCE N0. 82
AN ORDINANCE OF THE PILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, ANNEXING. CERTAIN LAND,
WHEREAS, the Charter of the Village provides in Article V, Section 29, as follows:

"Upon petition o£ the owner or owners of any lands adfoining or
within two (2) miles of the territorial boundaries of said mun-
icipality, to annex such lands by ordinance to the territorial
limits of the minicipality hereby established. Whenever any land
shall be annexed to the municipality hereby established, upon
the petition of the owner or owners thereof and in accordance
with the power and authority hereby given, then such land so
annexed shall be and become a part of the municipality hereby
established with the same force and effect as though the same
had been originally incorporated in the territorial boundaries
thereof."
and
WHEREAS, the following petition has been received by the Village Council:
"Village Council
Village of North Palm Beach, Florida
Gentlemen:
The undersigned hereby requests the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida,
to annex the following described real property and to make such property a
part of the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida:
The East One Acre of the North one-third of the West Half ( )
of the Southeast quarter (SE ~) o£ the Southwest quarter (SW )
o£ the Southeast quarter (SEA) of Section 17, Township 42 South
o£ Range 43 East, containing one acre, Palm Beach County, Florida,
Dated this 24th day of June, 1963.

WHEREAS, it appears said land is owned by said persons and is geographically so
located as to comply with•.the Charter provision above quoted and shoud be annexed by the
Village;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1, The following land in Palm Beach County, Florida, be and it is hereby
annexed to the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida:
The East One Acre of the North one-third of the West Half (W '~)
of the Southeast quarter (SEA-) of the Southwest quarter (SW~-)
of the Southeast quarter (SE~) of Section 17, Township 42 South
of Range 43 East, containing one acre, Palm Beach County, Florida.
Section 2. Such land shall hereafter be a part of the municipality of North
Palm Beach with the same force and effect as though the same had been originally incorpo-
rated in the Village territorial boundaries.
