ORDINANCE N0. 83
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALD1 BEACH, FLORIDA,
' AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 20, AS HERETOFORE ADIENDED, THE SAME BEING
THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE OF SAID VILLAGE BY REMOVING
CERTAIN PROPERTY FROD1 THE R-1 SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT AND
RECLASSIFYING SAID PROPERTY AS C-1-A LIMITED COMMERCIAL DISTRICT;
BY DIRECTING THE VILLAGE CLERK TO BRING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP UP
' TO DATE; BY PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HERELVITH AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

6VHEREAS, the Village Council, pursuant to authority vested
in it under section l4 of Ordinance No. 20, the same being the com-
prehensive zoning ordinance of said Village, has deemed it advisable
and necessary to amend said zoning ordinance in certain respects;
and
WHEREAS, a public hearing relating to said proposed amend-
ments was duly held pursuant to publication of the date and purpose
of said hearing as prescribed by law; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council has determined that it will be
to tkie best interest of public welfare, safety and morals to amend
Ordinance no. 20 in the manner discussed and proposed at said hearing;
NOIV, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, as follows:
Section 1. That Ordinance Aio. ZO entitled "A COMPREHENSIVE
ORDINANCE REGULATING THE USES OF LAND, WATER, BUILDINGS AND STRUC-
TURES WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, FOR TRADE,
INDUSTRY, RESIDENCE OR OTHER PURPOSES: REGULATING THE LOCATION,
HEIGHT, SIZE OF BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES, THE SIZE OF YARDS AND
• OTHER OPEN SPACES, THE DENSITY AND DISTRIBUTION OF POPULATION AND
FOR SAID PURPOSES, CREATING SIX (6) DISTRICTS AND ESTABLISHING THE
BOUNDARIES THEREOF AND ADOPTING A D1AP OF SAID DISTRICTS: DEFINING
CERTAIN TERMS USED: ESTABLISHING A, BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT AND PRO-
VIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATIOA' OF ITS PROVISIONS", as amended,
be and the same is hereby further amended in the following respects,
to wit:
The follotaing described property is hereby removed
from the zoning classification R-1 Single Family

Dwelling District:
Lots 11 and 12, FAIRHAVEN ADDITION to Village
of North Palm Beach, Florida, according to the
plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 27, Page 90,
Fublic Records of Palm Beach County, Florida.
Said land shall henceforth be classified C-1-A Limited
Commercial District.
Section 2. That the Village Clerk is hereby authoried
and directed to reflect upon the official zoning map, by hatching or
other approporiate means of designation, the changes in zoning class-
ification effected under this amending ordinance.
Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall take effect upon
its passage and approval as provided by law.
FIRST READING the 8th day of October , 1963. _
SECOND, FINAL READING AND PASSAGE the 8th Bay of
October , 1963.
