Ordinance 077 Annexing Certain Land
ORDINANCE NO. 77
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA,
ANNEXING CERTAIN LAND.
WHEREAS, the Charter of the Village provides in Article V,
Section 29, as follows:
"Upon petition of tYie owner or owners of any
lands adjoining or within two (2) miles of the
territorial boundaries of said municipality, to
annex such lands by ordinance to the territorial .
limits of the municipality hereby established.
Whenever any land shall be annexed to the munici-
pality hereby established, upon the petition of
the owner or owners thereof and in accordance
with the power and authority hereby given, then
such land so annexed shall be and become a part
of the municipality hereby established with the
same force and effect as though the same had been
originally incorporated in the territorial boundaries
thereof."
and,
WHEREAS, the following petition has been received by the
Village Council:

Village of North Palm Beach, Florida
Gentlemen:
"The undersigned owner hereby requests the
Village of North P<~lm Beach, Florida, to annex
the following described real property and to
make such property a part of the Village of
North Palm Beach, Florida:

"The East 781 feet of the South 390.5 feet
of that part of the Northeast Quarter (NEB)
of the Northwest Quarter (NW%} of Section 17,
lying West of the Right of Way of Prosperity
Farms Road, Totivnship 42 South, Range 43 East,
Palm Beach County, Florida; also the East 781
feet of the North 390.5 feet of that part of
the Southeast Quarter (SE%) of the Northwest
Quarter (NWT) of said Section 17, lying West
of the flight of Way of Prosperity Farms Road.
(References to "...Right of Way of Prosperity
Farms Road," are as said sight of way is evidenc-
ed in Deed Bool< 877, page 73, Falm Beach County
public records,?.

WHEREAS, it appears said land is oyvned by said village and
is geographically so located as to comply with the Charter provision
above quoted and should be annexed by the Vullage;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED $Y THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM $EACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The following land in Palm Beach County, Florida,
be and it is hereby annexed to the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida:
"The East 781 feet of the South 390.5 feet of --
that part of the Northeast Quarter (NE%) of the
Northwest Quarter (NWT} of Section 17, lying
West of the Right of Way of Prosperity Farms
Road, Township 42 South, Range 43 East, Palm
Beach County, Florida; also the East 781 feet
of the North 390.5 feet of that part of the
Southeast Quarter (SE'/qj of the Northwest Quarter
(NW%} of said Section 17, lying West of the Right
of Way of Prosperity Farms Road. (References to
"...Right of Way of Prosperity Farms Aoad," are
' as said right of way is evidenced in Deed Book
877, page 73, Palm Beach County public records."
Section 2. Such lands shall hereafter be a part of the
municipality of North Palm Beach with the same force and effect
as though the same had been originally incorporated in the Village
territorial boundaries. _
