Ordinance 075 Amendment to Ord. #20• ORDINANCE # 75 AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 20, BEING THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDIN- ANCE OF THE VILLAGE BY REMOVING CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM THE C-lA LIMITED COMMERCIAL DISTRICT AND R-3 APARTMENT DWELLING DISTRICT AND RE-CLASSIFYING SAID PROPERTY AS C-1 NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL DISTRICT AND/OR C-lA LIMITED COMMERCIAL DISTRICT AND/OR A-3 APARTMENT DWELLING DISTRICT; BY DIRECTING ' THE VILLAGE CLERK TO BRING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP UP TO DATE; BY PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND FOA OTHER PURPOSES. ttt -I-t-I- -k-tt }-f-',- WHEREAS the Village Council pursuant to authority vested in it under . Section 14 of Ordinance No. 20, the same being the comprehensive zoning ordinance of said Village, has deemed it advisable and necessary to amend said zoning ordinance in certain respect; and WHEREAS, a public hearing relating to said proposed amendments was- duly held pursuant to publication of the date and purpose of said hearing as prescribed by law; WHEREAS, the Village Council has determined that it will. be to the best interest of public welfare, safety and morals to amend Ordinance No. 20 ' in the manner discussed and proposed at said hearing; now, therefore BE I'L ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, as follows: Section 1. That Ordinance No. 20 entitled "A COMPREHBNSIVE ORDINANCE REGULATING THE USES OF LAND, WATER, BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, FOR TRADE, INDUSTRY, RESIDENCE OR OTHER PURPOSES; REGULATING THE LOCATION, HEIGHT, SIZE OF BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES, THE SIZE OF' YARDS AND OTHER OPEN SPACES, THE DENSITY AND DISTRI- BUTION OF POPULATION AND FOR SAID PURPOSES, CREATING SIX (6) DISTRICTS AND • ESTABLISHING THE BOiJNDRIES THEREOF AND ADOPTING A MAP OF SP.ID DISTRICTS; DEFINING CERTAIN TERMS USED; ESTABLISHING A BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF ITS PROVISIONS" as amended by and the same is hereby further amended in the following respects, to-wit: 1. The following described lands are hereby rezoned as more particularly set forth below, and the Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to amend the official zoning map of said Village so that the changes effected hereunder are appropriately designated theron: ' a. The following described land is hereby removed from the respective zoning classifications ClA Limited Commercial District and R-3 Apartment Dwelling District, to-wit: A Parcel of land in Section 9 and 16, Township 42 South, Range 43 East, Palm Beach County, • Florida, more particularly described as follows: L u Ordinance #75 Page 2 Plat known as Marine Addition, Village of North Palm Beach, Florida, as recorded in Plat Book 27, at }age 98, Public Records of Palm Beach County, Florida Said land shall be rezoned as follows: a. Lots 2 through 8 inclusive shall be rezoned _ R-3 Apartment Dwelling District. b. Lot 1, Lots 9 through 19 inclusive, and Parcels °'B", "C", f1D10, and "E" shall be rezoned C-lA Limited Commercial District. c. Lots 20 through 26 inclusive, and Parcel "A" shall be rezoned C-1, Neighborhood Commercial District. Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here with are hereby repealed. Section 3. That this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval as provided by law. PASSED AND ADOPTED on first reading this 5th day of June 1962.
